Before: Untouched since the sixties, this bathroom has a kind of retro charm! In reality it is a very small room that is difficult to use and keep clean. The client had very specific ideas for the functionality he required and for the style of each component.
After:
All plumbing was worn out and required replacement. At the same time we were able to conceal all exposed pipe work and install a power shower taking the supply from the hot water tank housed in an adjacent bathroom.
The "shower bath" installation provided improved access and meant that the clients could bathe their young children but shower themselves.
Movement in the house had caused walls to run out of true and the ceiling to crack badly. Marcin & Co was able to conceal the poor aesthetics resulting with the installation of a new ceiling and judicious use of packing to ensure tiles were installed with high precision.
